Meet Bryan Jewel.

For more than three decades, Bryan A. Jewel has provided trusted legal counsel to individuals and families throughout Knox County and Southern Indiana. As a founding partner of Kirchoff & Jewel, Bryan has built his practice on integrity, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to helping clients navigate life’s most difficult legal challenges with confidence.

Bryan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. After beginning his legal career in Evansville, Indiana, he returned to his hometown of Vincennes in 1992 to practice alongside Bruce Kirchoff. In 1997, the two established Kirchoff & Jewel, creating a firm dedicated to providing experienced legal representation with the personal attention clients deserve.

Bryan’s practice focuses primarily on family law and criminal defense. As a registered domestic relations mediator, he works with families to resolve disputes through practical, collaborative solutions whenever possible. In addition to his private practice, Bryan has served Knox County through the Public Defender Program for many years and has held the role of part-time Chief Public Defender since 2017, reflecting his longstanding commitment to public service and equal access to justice.

Deeply rooted in the Vincennes community, Bryan and his wife, Jennifer, raised their five daughters in Knox County. He remains actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations and believes that strong relationships, honest communication, and experienced counsel are the foundation of exceptional legal representation.
